We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the development of innovative products that meet the unique needs of our clients.


Job Summary: As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our data analytics products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer success, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your role will involve understanding market trends, gathering and prioritising customer requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that address the challenges faced by the social housing sector. You will maintain a product roadmap that delivers customer satisfaction, achieves operational goals, meets revenue targets and aligns with MobySoft’s longer term business objectives for growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Strategy and Vision:
  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and market needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and new product ideas.
  • Product Roadmap and Planning:
  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a product backlog, ensuring clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related inquiries.
  • Customer Focus:
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure our products meet their expectations.
  • Conduct user testing and gather insights to inform product improvements.
  • Monitor product performance and usage metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the social housing sector.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.


Requirements for the role:


  • Ideally 2+ years as a product manager of a software product
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, preferably with experience in data analytics or the social housing sector. You will be expected to clearly articulate the impact you have had on the products that you have managed.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience of building products that deliver customer value through visualisation of data and value through workflows that improve efficiency
  • Previous success in the definition, launch and in-service performance management of a great product including Go To Market planning
  • Customer, user and market focused; willingness to get out of the office with travel in the UK to client sites
  • Good understanding of web application and data analytics technology stack
  • Good understanding of cloud technology and the SaaS product model
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Passion for improving social housing and making a positive impact on communities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • A strong collaborator with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrates passion for all things product
