Spire Cheshire Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Inpatient Bookings team on a part-time and permanent basis.

Contract type: Fixed-term contract for 12 months
Working hours: Monday-Friday, varied shifts between 8 am and 6 pm
As Inpatient Bookings Administrator, you will be responsible to maintain an efficient admissions booking system for all in-patients and day-case patients.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited):
- Liaise with patients and all other hospital departments to ensure full and accurate communication regarding the patients’ admission and stay in Spire Cheshire Hospital
- Liaise with Consultants, patients and all other hospital departments to ensure full and accurate communication regarding the patients’ admission and stay in Spire Cheshire Hospital
- Ensure systems are in place for smooth processing of all NHS referrals including waiting list transfers ensuring all breach dates are met
- Receive and process all bookings for admissions and reserve beds and theatre time accordingly
- Communicate any relevant information regarding the patients’ stay to the appropriate hospital department eg. Wards, Theatre, Discharge Liaison, Consultants, Finance
- Cancel bookings as requested by Consultants or patients and notify all relevant hospital departments
