We are currently looking to hire registered nurses or LPNs for a school based position near the area of Mokena, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to students for illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions.
• Administer daily and emergency medications to students, following medical orders.
• Collaborate with school leadership to implement health policies and manage student health concerns.
• Conduct routine health screenings and document student health records accurately.
• Work closely with parents and healthcare providers to coordinate care for students with complex medical needs.
• Promote wellness through health education programs, including nutrition, exercise, and mental health awareness.
• Monitor and support the school's COVID-19 or other infectious disease protocols, ensuring compliance with public health guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN License.
• Prior experience in a school, public health, or pediatric setting is preferred.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with experience using health management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and support students with diverse backgrounds.
