Onsite Requirements:

Candidates should come from another enterprise bank focused on data quality and supporting another Chief Data Office.
Coming from another highly regulated environment like medical devices or pharma could also potentially work.
This role requires a heavy focus on data quality remediation and is techno-functional, they must have strengths in SQL and other technologies to manage the data
Very hands on role, not looking for someone strategic

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dedicated and detail-oriented Data Remediation Analyst with a strong background in data management, who is passionate about making a positive impact in the financial industry.
In this role, the person will be responsible for driving the data remediation efforts in the CDO which includes but not limited to:Develop and implement a comprehensive data remediation plan
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps or data quality issues
Monitor and track progress of data remediation efforts, and provide regular updates to management
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure data integrity
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend efficient procedures
Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of data remediation efforts
Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may hinder the success of remediation activities
Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders to address any mitigation concerns or questions



Core Requirements:

5-10 years of experience
Conduct analysis of business processes and functional requirements
Ability to document, communicate and validate findings
Identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources, and system specifications.
Ability to translate business problems into requirements, process changes, test cases, data mapping, etc.
Proficient in MMS Office applications, experience with MS Project a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to data transformation, functions/expressions, VBA, Macros, MS Access
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL or other coding language
