Job Description

As a welding engineer, you will prepare welding files thoroughly and supervise their execution. You are technically responsible for the project from A to Z and have the following tasks: Drawing up welding files in accordance with codes and customer requirements Organising and following up welding tests and the associated administration Optimising existing welding processes Supporting and advising other departments such as sales, project managers, technical draughtsmen, designers and production Contributing to welding improvements Qualifying welders and drawing up the necessary documentation Besides a bachelor/master diplola, you are in possession of the diploma IWE or IWT or willing to get one Relevant experience in the metal sector is a plus You have knowledge of welding procedures and related standards (or you are willing to learn this) Experience with quality management is a plus- You have a social attitude and are communicative You have a flexible attitude and are willing to learn and grow in terms of tasks and responsibilities You have a good knowledge of the common software packages You have a good knowledge of the English language A challenging job in a stable company with strong know-how and handsome project realisations Solid support from an experienced and motivated team An attractive salary, supplemented by extra legal benefits Training courses to keep your professional knowledge up to date and to expand your knowledge and skills Our client is an engineering-supported metal manufacturer, recognized as a reliable manufacturing partner and collaborates closely with world-class companies.
