In the role of Robotics/PLC programmer you will have the following tasks and responsibilities: Support installations of robotic and automated systems Start up, debug and provide production support of robots and/or electromechanical systems including PLC's and HMI's Maintain customer specifications Commission and optimize your projects in a virtual environment Use 3D simulation software for robot simulation and offline programming Optimize cycle time and process Develop tools and integration strategies to increase effectiveness & lower cost Investigate and suggest process and technology enhancements To perform the role of Robotics/PLC programmer you should: Have a master's degree in IT, electricity, electronics, electromechanics or mechatronics Possess the knowledge and skills to work independently on a project from the start till the end Demonstrate at least 2 years' experience in an highly automated industrial environment Be familiar with the most common industrial robots and PLC's Be ready to participate hands-on to the projects Be willing to live abroad for a longer period of time while the project is developing Have a driving license Be ready to deal with stressful situation Competitive salary aligned with your experience and qualifications Additional fringe benefits Training and development opportunities A dynamic and collegial working environment Reimbursement of travel expenses Flexible working hours Our client aims to be one of the leading companies specialised in robot and PLC programming in Europe and their solutions are used by clients in various industrial sectors.
