Senior Electrical Project Engineer

A large, Tier M&E contractor with a rich history spanning back decades and specialising in residential, student accommodation and hotel projects across the UK, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to help deliver a High Rise Residential project located in the City Of London which is set to be completed Spring 2026.

This company has cemented its status as a leading company in the building services market and is one of the industry's largest independent contractors.

Enhanced pension scheme Roles and responsibilities:

Oversee and manage Electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
Lead the design, specification, and development of Electrical systems and components, including HVAC, piping, and other building services.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with electrical, and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of Electrical systems with other building services.
Ensure all Electrical systems comply with relevant industry codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Monitor project costs, prepare budgets, and work to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
Identify potential risks in Electrical engineering designs and projects, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of installation, and adherence to design specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries, providing updates, and ensuring client expectations are met.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to procure equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications for project handover and future reference.For more information please email (url removed)
