We are looking for a Responsible Welding Coordinator for a permanent position based with our client in Scunthorpe.
Immediate start (Subject to the interview process)
Rate of pay is negotiable.
Duties
Ensuring that welding activities are compliant with relevant standards
Ensuring that personnel are suitably qualified and work to procedures
Verifying materials
Providing an RWC statement
Ensuring that Welding Procedure Qualification Records, Welding Procedure Specifications, and Welder Qualifications are validThe Welding Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring that safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of welding techniques and technologies, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.
In this position, you will not only handle the day-to-day management of welding projects but also be involved in project planning and implementation phases.
You will be tasked with maintaining quality assurance processes and conducting regular inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing project needs, making it essential for the Welding Coordinator to be detail-oriented and organised.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, processes, and equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to welding.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
