Reporting Line: Chief Revenue Officer

Role Overview

As the Strategy and Innovation Director, you will play a pivotal role helping shape Zaizi’s strategic go to market direction. You will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, identifying new capability requirements, cultivating strategic partnerships, and leading our strategic go to market planning processes. You will work closely with the CEO, Club Executives and Club Leadership to ensure that our strategic go to market goals are aligned with our mission and values, driving us towards achieving our growth targets and positively impacting the 70 million citizens of the UK.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of our existing and new propositions, capabilities and services. Work collaboratively with the Club Leadership, ensuring alignment across our business and with the evolving needs of the public sector.
  • Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities for growth, and potential challenges within our current and planned sectors. Support growth in existing Clubs and also provide leadership in the development of new growth areas and Clubs.
  • Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Spearhead innovation and growth initiatives, exploring new technologies, services, and business models that can enhance our competitive edge. Work with Clubs to ensure these become embedded in the business.
  • Market Engagement: Lead Zaizi Go to Market activities. Act as a focal point for marketing events, working collaboratively with Clubs and the Marketing team. Lead Zaizi engagement at industry and client events.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with government agencies, technology providers, and other relevant stakeholders to expand our capabilities and market reach.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the company, leading cross-functional teams to execute initiatives effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: With the CRO, develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to strategic objectives, ensuring that the company is on track to achieve its goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government entities, to build strong relationships and align our services with the public sector's needs.

Role KPIs

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve targeted revenue growth through strategic initiatives, new service offerings, and expansion into new markets.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop a targeted number of new strategic partnerships with public sector entities and technology providers.
  • Client Acquisition: Achieve targeted new client wins and engagement activities.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain or improve customer satisfaction levels, as measured by net promoter score (NPS) or similar metrics.

Salary: £80-110k + OTE

Interview Process:

1st stage:

Initial phone screening done by a member of the recruitment team

2nd stage:

Technical interview, this stage evaluates your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, especially if you're applying for a technical role.

Final Stage:

10-15 min presentation and a panel interview where multiple people from different departments ask you questions.

SC Clearance:

Zaizi works with UK Central Government departments on a range of projects. To be able to work on our customer projects, employees must be Security Cleared to a standard acceptable to our Government customers. Due to this restriction we can currently only recruit candidates who are British passport holders
