About the role:
The Client Consultant plays a critical and unique role at Euromonitor International. Their primary objective is to assist in the prioritization and execution of strategies set by globally focused executives located in Western Europe. Working from a named list of existing (FMCG) Corporate clients within the Global Fortune 500, Client Consultants are expected to expand and create new relationships across client organizations leveraging our entire suite of products and services. This often involves engaging and mapping multiple business units and functions including strategy, consumer insights, marketing, innovation, finance, R&D etc. Solutions can range from specific data and trend analysis, derived from existing syndicated databases to large scale, strategic consulting projects that address key business objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Understand and succinctly explain all Euromonitor’s capabilities, Passport, Via and Consulting
- Building relationships, creating a deeper network inside client organizations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers.
- Able to map, network, and penetrate a client’s organisational structure as well as understand key business processes like strategic planning, innovation funnels, and new market entry strategies.
- Frequently challenge clients to constructively broaden their perspective.
- Responsible for an annual upsell target as well as assisting to secure contract renewals.
- Use a refined consultative approach to identify points of engagement. Going beyond providing data to applying our industry insights for problem solving. Seeking areas to assist with urgent projects but also building consistent, structured and predictable points of engagement.
- Always hunting for new areas our capabilities can be applied
- Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources, developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within an organisation
What you’ll need:
- You will be a highly self-motivated professional with a proven track record managing client relationships and delivering incremental revenue
- Experience selling into or working within the public sector is desirable, with academia sales a real plus
- Networking and communication skills to uncover new opportunities and deepen client relationships
- Tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, and persuasiveness to close deals
- Target oriented – ability to meet monthly and annual sales targets
- Ability to manage workload across all clients, balancing proactive commercial activities with reactive client support (keeping the latter to a minimum by leveraging technical support and industry teams)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Comfort interacting with Director, VP and C-level executives
- Solution and value selling acumen
- Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics are preferable International perspective
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
What to expect in the interview process:
Initial Video Call; with a member of our Talent Acquisition team (chat through your CV and learn more about us as a company and the role)
Video Call Interview; with the Hiring Manager and potentially another team member (explore your experience and see if there is a fit for the team and role)
Face2Face Interview; visit our London office and meet the team. (a scenario based task will be involved here and will be sent to you in plenty of time to prep)
The TA team will be on hand throughout the entire process to provide support and champion you!
