This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company backed by a reputable international tech-focused private equity firm, currently generating approximately £20m in ARR. They are EBITDA positive currently generating margins of circa 25%. As a market leader in their sector, they are entering an exciting phase of expansion, driven by growth equity investment.

Position Overview:

Finatal is seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO to join their leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a high-growth SaaS business, playing a pivotal role in scaling operations and driving performance across multiple geographies.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a CFO role within a PE-backed SaaS company, ideally managing international expansion, with a strong track record of delivering financial excellence, optimising EBITDA, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s goals of scaling.
• Ensure robust financial controls, reporting, and corporate governance are in place and maintained across all markets.
• Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive M&A activities, investment opportunities, and support long-term fundraising initiatives.
• Provide hands-on leadership to the finance team, ensuring the business has the right structure, systems, and processes in place to support rapid growth.
• Travel across the Nordics as needed to oversee financial operations and assist in the successful rollout of new markets.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO in a private equity-backed SaaS business.
• Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, CLTV, MRR) and operational scaling in afast-growth environment.
• Demonstrated success in driving EBITDA improvements and working closely with PE investors.
• Strong international experience, with the ability to manage and scale operations across multiple regions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and inspire a high-performing finance team.
• Willingness to travel across the Nordics (bi-weekly)
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
