FTSE100 International Tax Senior Manager, Emerging Markets

FIXED TERM CONTRACT 15 MONTHS | STARTING OCT/NOV 2024

This multinational FTSE100 giant holds a key position in several distinct industrial markets. With operations in every continent, it delivers branded products and high value commodities to multinational corporate customers all over the world.

As part of a large Global Tax Team, you will enjoy a flexible working model and be able to work both from home and in the heart of London.

This interim role focuses on the delivery of international tax advice to support transactions and new country entry across Africa and Europe. Reporting to the Regional Tax Director, and working closely with the Senior International Tax Manager on cross-border tax matters and group tax projects, you will be responsible for:

• Providing support on tax advisory matters, as required, for various projects in the Region
• Responsible for supporting the Exploration Team with tax issues on existing and new projects in Europe and Africa
• Assist with ad-hoc cross-border tax advisory projects, including group financing, M&A etc.
• Monitoring and review of Group CFCs, providing the compliance team with the required CFC disclosures and liabilities
• Providing technical support to the region on Pillar 2 related issues and supporting the compliance team with local and group filing requirements
• Assistance as required with other group tax projects
• Building relationships across the broader finance team to help drive the tax agenda

About you:

• ACA/CTA qualified
• UK corporate tax trained, Big 4 or Top Tier
• Able to start a new contract in October or November 2024
• Proven international tax advisory experience, direct/corporate tax focus
• Ability to lead projects in a complex multinational environment
• Able to work in the office at least 2 days every week
