As a Senior Back-End Engineer at FINESSE, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting and optimizing our server-side systems that power digital experiences for millions of customers globally. With significant experience under your belt, you'll not only implement and maintain these platforms but also lead in optimizing their performance. You'll collaborate closely with a team of exceptional talents and world-class engineers to design robust, efficient, and reliable back-end solutions. Your scope includes developing and improving our data models and integration points that support our website, mobile app, and other tech-centric touchpoints, ensuring they remain cutting-edge, secure, and capable of handling high-volume traffic.

Recommended Background

• With significant professional experience in back-end development, with a portfolio showcasing production-level projects
• Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) and relational databases
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Proficiency in developing scalable, distributed systems with experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization
• Strong knowledge of system performance optimization, including caching mechanisms and strategies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and observability tools
• Thorough understanding of API design principles, security best practices, and modern back-end development trends
