Location: London (hybrid 3 days in office)

We've recently partnered with a global design agency who are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join them as part of the growth of their digital marketing and merchandising platform.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to help scale a rapidly expanding area of this already market leading ad agency!

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing android application to run on embedded media players, integrating into an existing api content management system and interfacing with external peripherals.
• Modifying Android software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Analysing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
• Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Proven experience working with Android Java or Kotlin with embedded systems.
• Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
• Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
