Job Description

I am currently working with a leading financial data & SaaS financial services vendor and are looking to expand the team in London.


The firm has now established itself as one of the leaders in the space, having over 10 offices globally, with over 400 employees, and is now looking for a UK account manager.


The role focuses on new business and managing existing relationships catering to top-tier banks, asset managers, and other buy-side clients across the UK.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a strategic approach to account planning to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build & maintain existing relationships with clients and look for upselling opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for existing clients to provide value and meet their business goals and needs.
  • Regular meetings and communication with clients to understand their evolving needs.
  • Successfully work with other departments and stakeholders to service the clients effectively.
  • Successfully account manage the key financial services clients.
  • Manage a sales pipeline accurately.


Qualifications:

  • 4 - 10 years experience as an Account Manager, Sales Executive, or in similar client-facing role
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and delivering expectational customer service
  • Experience selling SaaS or B2B software.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM experience is preferred.
