Fourblue have teamed up with a leading contractor in the UK and Ireland, who provide specialised engineering services across the power, multi-utility, and building services sectors. Their forward-thinking approach enables them to identify market opportunities and deliver comprehensive solutions that consistently exceed their clients expectations.

Now seeking a skilled Design Engineer to develop multi-utility designs for clients within the power and multi-utility sectors. Your responsibilities will include creating scheme drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and civil construction packages, with a strong emphasis on adhering to NRSWA, NJUG, and various statutory undertakers' guidelines.

Responsibilities of the Multi Utility Design Engineer:

• Review site investigations and utility diversions
• Analyse site constraints
• Create 2D and 3D scheme drawings for construction or further investigation
• Develop 2D and 3D design construction packages
• Attend utility workshops with clients and statutory authorities

Criteria for the Multi Utility Design Engineer:

• Minimum of 5 years in the multi-utility industry
• Knowledge of Thames Water, National Grid Gas, and telecommunications networks
• Proficiency in drafting scheme drawings using DWG and Civil 3D formats
• Familiarity with Single Line Diagrams and technical abbreviations/symbols
• Understanding of NJUG and NRSWA regulations
• HNC, HND, or degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
