ABOUT THE ROLE:


As the Franchise Sales Manager, supporting the Franchising division, you will play a pivotal role in Townhouse's international expansion strategy by identifying new multi-unit franchise opportunities, developing strong partnerships, and ensuring the successful onboarding of franchisees. This role requires a commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and qualify prospective franchisees by assessing their capabilities, financial standing, and alignment with Townhouse values.
  • Work closely with the Franchise Director to develop and execute strategies for growing Townhouse’s franchise network.
  • Conduct research to identify potential markets and opportunities, both in the UK and internationally, where Townhouse can expand its franchise presence.
  • Identify leads for potential franchises, utilising industry knowledge and networks.
  • Lead the development process from lead identification to franchise agreement, including presenting Townhouse's franchising model, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Evaluate and qualify prospective franchisees by assessing their capabilities, financial standing, and alignment with Townhouse values.
  • Develop and present business plans and financial models to potential franchisees to illustrate the potential return on investment.
  • Be the main point of contact between franchisee and Townhouse, owning all communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with franchisees, ensuring a strong partnership. Providing support throughout their business journey and ensuring development obligations are met.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new franchisees, ensuring they have the tools and support needed for a successful launch and ongoing operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance etc.) to ensure franchisees are fully supported and integrated with Townhouse’s brand standards and operating model.


ABOUT YOU:


  • Strong experience in business development, sales, or franchising (preferably in the hospitality, beauty, or retail sectors).
  • Demonstrable success in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth through franchise or partnership models.
  • Confident in leading negotiations and closing complex deals with large multi-unit franchisees both in the UK and internationally.
  • Ability to review and advise on business plans, with an excellent understanding of financial models, business plans, and P&L models.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • High degree of influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with potential franchisees and explore new markets.


LOCATION:


Our office is based in Central London and we offer a hybrid working model, based on the requirements of the role.
