Commercial Asset Manager (Renewables)

I am exclusively partnering with an established BESS leader in the search for an Asset Manager, they develop, own, and operate the assets and have all functions in-house, including, development, finance, engineering, and legal.

I have personally placed multiple individuals with this client, therefore I can provide detailed insight into the culture and make-up of the team, they also offer private medical, flexible working, and a leading bonus scheme.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Manage the daily commercial operations of battery storage assets, ensuring maximum profitability.
• Take charge of negotiating contracts with off-takers (energy buyers), suppliers (equipment vendors, energy providers), and service providers (maintenance, monitoring, etc.).
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making across revenue and OPEX.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 2+ Years of Asset Management experience in the renewable sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills (financial modeling a plus)
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
