Job Duties

We are looking for a talented and experienced release manager with exposure to Capital Market domain for one of our Global Investment Banking Clients

  • oversee the release management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications.
  • Planning the release of project deliverables and release-related activities
  • Leading and coordinating the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists
  • Coordinating with project management, software development, quality assurance, operations, and other departments to ensure successful product delivery
  • Implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments
  • Negotiating, planning, and managing all release activities
  • Continually working towards making improvements in the release process
  • Conducting release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews
  • Producing deployment run books and implementation plans
  • Working with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
  • Maintaining a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
  • Responsible for the release documents and notes, and address the MRAs
  • Good understanding of environment and infrastructure knowledge


Skills Required

  • Overall experience in Information Technology in areas of Release and Change Management, Design, Development, Application Maintenance, Testing and Support and team handling.
  • 5 years in Release and Change Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs. Where necessary you’ll provides tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production.
  • 3 years in managing various environment with experience in development and testing.
  • Hands-on experience in information gathering from client to offshore.
  • Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills; worked in teams and adhered to
  • Planned time frame.
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
