Data Quality & Valuations Administrator - Asset Manager
Harrington Starr are delighted to partner with a prestigious Asset Manager based in the City of London who are looking to add a Data Quality & Valuations Administrator to their Operations team as they enjoy a sustained period of growth. This business, founded in 1983 and managing almost £20bn in AuM, enjoy a distinguished reputation in the space for their approach to investing, focus on technology and vibrant culture.
This role is based by St Pauls and requires 3 x days a week in the office (Tues, Weds, Thurs) with 2 days working from home. You must be fully eligible to work in the UK as this role unfortunately does not provide visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data maintenance and reconciliation across various security-related tasks, ensuring data integrity within the Investment Management System (IMS).
- Generate and review client valuations for both ad hoc requests and period-end reporting.
- Manage cash and stock positions for in-house funds, institutional clients, and private client portfolios.
- Price equities, fixed income assets, market-listed derivatives, and indices.
- Set up stock for trading platform usage.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
About you:
- 1-2+ years relevant industry experience (Asset Management highly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to liaise confidently with 3rd party stakeholders (custodians, data providers etc)
- Payments knowledge incl. CHAPS, BACS and SWIFT
- A proactive learner and communicator with the ability to gather information and resolve issues
