Job Description

EIC Partnership are a forward-thinking utilities consultancy, with 50 years’ experience of helping business clients take effective control of their energy, water and waste – lowering their bills, saving them time and contributing to a more sustainable future.

The role will deal with accounting and reporting for different entities, working to facilitate the provision of critical information to top management in the Group.

Reporting into the Group Head of Finance. The successful candidate should be able to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads and work within a small team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Raising sales invoices, recording customer receipts and reconciling all customer accounts and management of the sales ledgers.

*

Recording supplier invoices, purchase payments and reconciling all supplier accounts and management of the purchase ledgers.

*

Reconciling all bank accounts – current, client money & loan accounts. Keeping accounting records up-to-date.

*

Preparation of reports on debtors and creditors and credit control.

*

Setting up and maintaining properties, tenants and tenancies on the property management system.

*

Working with spreadsheets and updating the rent schedule for the weekly management meeting.

*

Organising cash sales to deposit in the bank. Recording and filing cash transactions.

*

Liaising with tenants, suppliers and various government agencies, if necessary.

*

Processing payroll, filing the pension data etc.

*

Providing administrative support to senior members of the finance team.

*

Reporting to Group Head of Finance.

Skills and Experience Required:

Skills:

*

Proficient in accounting software - Xero

*

Proficient in Property Management software - Landlord vision

*

Highly organised with ability to multi task and work to deadline

*

Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately

*

Good communication skills

Experience:

*

Over 5 years of experience in bookkeeping at a property investment/management company.

*

AAT qualified / Preliminary qualifications in professional accounting body such as ACCA or CIMA.
