HR Business Partner (Financial Services experience required)

London / Hybrid

c.£80-90,000 plus bonus & benefits


Network HR have partnered with a global financial services firm to support with the hire of a HR Business Partner to join their developing and high-touch team. This opportunity will see you based in central London, reporting directly into the Group Head of Human resources. This opportunity will design and imbed the international People and Culture strategy to support the evolution of the payments business. The group business is moving towards an Ulrich HR Model, but the transitional phase will require a well-rounded generalist who can cover the full spectrum of L&D, ER, Reward Cycles and more strategic HR interventions.


A true business partnering approach will be critical in order to coach business leaders through discussions about transforming/streamlining functions, therefore experience of coaching leaders through sometimes uncomfortable periods of change will be important. This also applies to succession planning and mapping hi-potential talent in the organisation. Responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to;


  • Support Managers to drive effective performance and support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Lead on administrative duties when required.
  • Successfully scale the ladder from operational to strategic responsibilities; recruitment activities, ER, change initiatives, benefits etc.
  • Work with various lines of business to agree appropriate performance management plans
  • Confidently manage stakeholders whilst navigating local nuances and complexities.


The successful candidate will hold the below experience and knowledge;


  • Financial Services / Regulatory experience in a small to medium sized organisation is mandatory for this appointment
  • Willingness to support with administrative activities alongside more strategic elements
  • A proven track record of providing generalist HRBP support throughout a period of change or transformation will be necessary
  • Exposure to Ex-co stakeholders
