Model Risk Manager – Exciting Reinsurer

Clarence George is working with a top-tier reinsurer who is seeking a Model Risk Manager to join their Group Risk function in London or Dublin. In this role, you will lead the second-line oversight of financial models used by Finance and Actuarial teams, ensuring they are fit for purpose and comply with regulatory expectations. You will also provide insights and assurance to the Group Chief Risk Officer.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Actuary with 5–10 years post-qualification experience
• Expertise in financial modelling under Solvency II and/or BMA regulations
• Strong communication skills; able to convey complex technical concepts clearly
