Job Title: .NET Developer eTRM (OUTSIDE IR35)

Job Description

Join one of the largest commodity trading firms in Europe, as a eTRM .NET Developer!

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET applications within the ETRM space.
• Work on three main applications: Endur, GMA, and LTRM.
• Contribute to the ongoing project of building a Power trading platform.
• Handle Business as Usual (BAU) tasks to understand ETRM and related platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful transition to new messaging technologies.
• Deputise for the hiring manager and assist with their responsibilities.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Engage in support activities and occasionally work with older technology.

Essential Skills

• Strong .NET development experience (any version of .NET).
• Understanding of Visualisation tools such as SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
• Experience working in high throughput environments like trading or betting.
• Ability to contribute new ideas and drive team progression.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
• Willingness to engage in support and learn new skills such as ETRM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ETRM platforms.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Architectural level knowledge of applications.
