This role is ideal for a professional who brings expertise in cost management, project budgeting, and contract administration. Key Responsibilities: Oversee cost management and project budgeting for construction projects. Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements. Monitor and control costs for large construction projects, focusing on optimizing budgets and minimizing overspend. Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met. Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and compliance with financial and contractual standards. Prepare, analyze, and submit detailed cost reports and forecasts. Use specialized construction software (such as CCS Candy) to manage project data efficiently. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying with in-depth knowledge of quantity surveying principles. Professional registration with SACOSP is required. Strong knowledge of contract law and construction regulations. Proven experience in cost control and management, particularly for large-scale construction projects. Familiarity with industry-standard construction software (e.g., CCS Candy). Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Additional Skills: Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
