Job description:

Changi Airport Group (CAG) is looking for a highly motivated Senior Computer Vision Engineer with a passion for making a difference in the future of the airport operations. You will be developing and deploying challenging computer vision related solutions that are integrated into robotics and automation systems. You will work directly with robotics engineers, airport operation experts and stakeholders to revolutionize airport operations with AI-enabled robotics systems.

This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Expectations:

• Design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, tracking and scene understanding
• Develop robust software solutions to integrate the computer vision algorithms into our robotics systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional team including business owners, other robotics engineers, field workers to design and iterate the systems from concept to deployment in real-world operations
• Contribute to code review, technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields in engineering
• More than 5 years of experience in designing and implementing deep neural networks with a strong knowledge of data processing pipelines
• Experience in ML model deployment in both cloud and edge devices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python
• Familiarity with open-source libraries such as OpenCV, PCL, PyTorch
• Familiarity with ROS, Gazebo or similar simulation environments
• Familiarity with robotics systems such as AMRs, collaborative robot, EOAT (End of arm tools), 3D cameras and their working principles
• Experience with deployment of robotics is a plus
