Job description:

Changi Airport Group (CAG) is looking for a highly motivated Robotics Software Engineer with a passion for making a difference in the future of the operation operations. You will work directly with both airport domain experts and leading robotics companies in response to the changing nature of airport operations by pioneering bespoke robotics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong background in software, robotics, sensors and system integration.

This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Job Description:

The candidate is expected to lead software development for bespoke robotics platforms, including navigation and control, motion planning, driver for new sensor and hardware integration, with the goal of curating products for eventual deployment. The candidate is also expected to collaborate with cross-functional team including business owners & robotics engineers to design and test the systems.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields in engineering
• More than 3 years of experience in software development in robotics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python
• Familiarity with ROS, Gazebo or similar in both simulation and actual deployment
• Familiarity with AGVs, AMRS, collaborative robot, EOAT (End of arm tools) and robotics components
• Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, electronics
• Familiarity with industry safety standards for machinery and robots is a plus
• Experience with deployment of robotics is a plus
