Java Developer - Trade Booking

Responsibilities:

Booking System Management:

• Design and maintain a robust booking system to capture trades with precision, ensuring no discrepancies within the market.
• Proactively monitor and audit trading activities to guarantee that all trades are correctly captured and accurately represented.

Clearing House Functionality:

• Develop and enhance clearing house functionalities to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
• Implement efficient routing protocols for transactions, directing them to appropriate clearing entities for seamless trade execution.

Risk System Integration:

• Collaborate closely with the risk management team to incorporate real-time risk assessment features into the trading platform.
• Ensure comprehensive risk evaluation of all trading activities, enabling precise and timely reporting to uphold market integrity.

Performance Optimization:

• Demonstrate a keen interest in low-latency technology, actively optimizing backend performance within a high-frequency trading environment.
• Remain current with industry best practices and technological advancements to drive system efficiency and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Expertise in Core Java programming, with strong knowledge of concurrency, multi-threading, and data structures.
• Proven experience in optimizing code for low-latency execution in high-frequency trading contexts.
• Proficient in garbage collection tuning and advanced performance strategies.
• Familiar with network protocols, socket programming, and API integrations.
• Experience with trading booking systems, trade capture platforms, or similar financial systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Prior exposure to financial or trading systems, especially in trade booking or clearing, is advantageous.
