As a Junior Actuarial Analyst , you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our actuarial services. With your strong foundation in life insurance and a passion for numbers, youll help us drive insights that impact our business decisions. This is your chance to make a difference while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment Duties and Responsibilities: Valuation and Pricing: Assist in the valuation of insurance products and contribute to pricing strategies. Data Analysis: Analyze actuarial data and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes. Prophet Modelling: Utilize Prophet software to model various scenarios and assess risk factors. Collaboration: Work closely with senior actuaries and cross-functional teams to develop and implement actuarial strategies. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all actuarial work complies with industry regulations and company standards. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and developments, enhancing your professional skills. Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the life insurance or short-term insurance sector (life insurance preferred). Exams: Minimum of 6 actuarial exams passed, showcasing your commitment to the profession. Education: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Honours Degree is an advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Prophet software is preferred; experience in valuations or pricing is a plus. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
