BI Developer

Key Responsibilities: BI Solutions Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient BI solutions using a variety of data tools and technologies. Data Integration & ETL: Develop and manage ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse. Reporting & Dashboards: Create meaningful and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools. Data Analysis & Modeling: Build and maintain data models that support business analytics and reporting needs. Collaboration: Work closely with business users, data analysts, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize BI applications, reports, and data pipelines to ensure high performance. Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the BI systems. Documentation & Training: Provide documentation for BI solutions and offer training or support to end-users. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst. Strong experience with BI development, reporting, and data integration tools. Experience in Data Warehousing and ETL processes . Familiarity with working in Agile development environments. Required Technologies & Tools: BI & Reporting Tools: Microsoft Power BI (or Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools) SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Data Modeling: SQL-based data modeling OLAP cubes, star/snowflake schema design ETL Tools: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Alteryx) Databases & Data Warehousing: SQL Server (or other relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL) Familiarity with Cloud Data Platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is a plus Languages/Technologies: SQL (advanced querying and optimization) Experience with Python or R for data analysis is advantageous Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for Power BI is a plus Version Control: Familiar with version control tools such as Git Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights Apply now
