Your new company
Your new company is an established Nuclear Consultancy, based near Preston, who are at the forefront of innovation within Nuclear Technology. One of the leaders in technology, they are continuing to expand their Mechanical Engineering team.
Your new role
Your new role as a Mechanical Engineer, you will be designing, developing and implementing mechanical systems and components for various Nuclear and Defence companies. You will be conducting feasibility studies and technical analysis to ensure optimal performance and efficiency across projects. Within this role, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers,and clients, to ensure project requirements are met. Another responsibility will be preparing technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have between 5–10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience. You will have Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
In addition to this, you will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience can suffice if no degree is held. The desired background would be working within Nuclear and Defence, or any other highly regulated industry, such as Oil & Gas or Pharmaecitical.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will recieve an excellent base salary of between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. You will also receive some great perks, including a Car Scheme, Health and Well-being vouchers and a great pension and holiday scheme.
