Management Accountant, permanent job in Shrewsbury, £35,000 - £43,000 per annum

Hays senior finance are working with this well known company based in Shrewsbury who were established over 20 years ago to recruit an Accountant for them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
The job of Management Accountant will involve;

• Calculating depreciation on the fixed asset register
• Finance analysis
• Financial reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting
• Assisting with audits
• Month end accounting
• Supporting the Finance director with ad-hoc accounting tasks as and when needed
• Attending meetings to talk through the financial reports as well as answer any queries in the monthly meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an accounting department, and they will be confident to attend meetings and talk through the companies' financial results. They will also be able to work to tight deadlines and have experience of assisting with the production of management accounts.
