Description
This is a reputable integrated energy trading multinational, with both trading teams and assets located globally. While it continues to optimize its portfolio in conventional energy, the Company is also embarking on growth plans in energy transition. Due to those growth ambitions, the team is keen to build its capabilities in treasury and is now on the search for a Collateral Management Lead.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Treasurer, the Collateral Management Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the collateral management processes within the commodities trading division. Working closely with trading, risk management, and finance teams, the lead will ensure the effective utilization of collateral, mitigation of credit risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Together with the treasury analyst, manage and analyze the daily margining flows of front office's daily positions and price movements, and where appropriate, manage the margining arrangements. The lead wil also develop and execute strategies for collateral optimization, ensuring the efficient allocation of collateral across trading desks and counterparties. As team lead, he/ she will also mentor team members on best practices in collateral management and risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements
The successful candidate be a bachelor's degree holder in Finance, business administration, economics, or a related field with 7 to 10 years' experience in collateral management, middle office, or treasury in commodities or financial institutions. Professional certification in CFA / FRM is a plus. You should also possess a strong understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, and collateral management principles. Working knowledge of Python, Power BI along with advanced excel skills will be highly advantageous. You will also be described as independent, resourceful with effective problem-solving abilities.
