Static Equipment Engineer

As Static Equipment Engineer , you will join our Department/Function Mechanical Equipment Engineering, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities: Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers; Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i.e. Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents;) Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award; Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost); Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc. Optimise the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance. QUALIFICATION: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional English Level LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Proven experience ( at least 5 years ) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies; IT SKILLS: focus on static equipment ( mainly on Columns and Vessels ) and has familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i.e. PV Elite, Compress, or similar). SOFT SKILLS: Excellent problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork kills LOCATION: Milano (MI) MOBILITY: Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month) Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year Gi Group S.p.A. è autorizzata ad operare dal Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali (Aut.
