Business Analyst/Product Owner

Qualifications and Experience Required: Matric plus Masters or Bachelors degree in Sciences, Business, Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field. 5 Years in Business Analysis, product ownership, or product management within an Agile environment. Client-Facing Experience : Proven ability to manage client expectations and align product features with client needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration : History of working across teams to align product requirements with technical solutions. Data-Driven Decision Making : Demonstrated experience using data to prioritize features and improve product outcomes. Skills Required: Product Management : Knowledge of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies. Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Stakeholder Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to manage expectations, deliver updates, and foster stakeholder relationships. Data Analysis : Ability to interpret data analytics and KPIs to guide product decisions and assess feature performance. Change Management : Skilled at implementing processes that support change and establish best practices within a growing team. Professional Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical audiences. Role Accountabilities: Product Ownership Support: Act as the main point of contact for product needs, bridging communication between development teams and stakeholders. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Document and prioritize business requirements, converting them into clear technical specifications. Agile Process Facilitation: Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to keep development aligned with project goals. User Story Development: Write and refine user stories, including acceptance criteria and task breakdowns for development. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, priorities, and any issues affecting timelines. Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for efficient product development workflows. Data Analysis: Utilize data and metrics to guide decisions and validate feature prioritization. Change Management: Support the transition to a self-sustaining, full-time team by setting up and refining product management processes.
