Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mobile technologies and a proven ability to build high-quality mobile apps on the Android platform. Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. - Work with external APIs and data sources to integrate third-party services. - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance. - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices. - Ensure application compatibility with a wide range of Android devices. Requirements : - Proven experience as an Android Developer (1-4 years or more). - Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin. - Deep understanding of the Android SDK and Android architecture components. - Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. - Strong understanding of design principles, patterns, and best practices for Android. - Experience with Android UI design, including knowledge of Material Design. - Familiarity with Firebase, Google APIs, and other popular third-party libraries. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle. - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Preferred Qualifications : - Knowledge of reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines. - Familiarity with Android Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room). - Experience with CI/CD for Android apps. - Familiarity with cloud services such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud. - Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Understanding of mobile security protocols and best practices. - Please mail your resume to aditifirstcareercentre.com (ref:hirist.tech)
