Senior Satellite Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Satellite Project Manager on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Rome or Milan, Italy. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: Program Management of space business projects; Interface with the Customer; Coordination of internal resources and activity; Coordination and management of external suppliers; Preparation and coordination of meetings, reviews, workshops; Definition and management of project related economics (cost estimate). Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Management, Mechanical or comparable qualifications; Minimum 10 years experience in Program Management of space missions/projects (ESA/ASI); Knowledge of project economics (budget definition, estimate to-complete, gross profit,…). Personal attitude in team building, coordination and conflict resolution; Knowledge of space business standards and practices; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Fluency in spoken and written English.
