Metocean Engineer

As a member of the Aventa Engineering team, the Metocean Engineer will collaborate with colleagues in different phases of projects, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives. Our scope of services for Metocean Engineering includes: Definition of Metocean Conditions for specific sites and/or sea transports (database or hindcast/modeling data) Desktop/Feasibility Metocean Studies Nearshore Metocean Criteria Advanced Statistical Analyses Wave/Hydrodynamics Modeling Wave diffraction/agitation studies inside Port/Harbor Tropical cyclones modeling and statistics QUALIFICATIONS Engineering or Physics degree. Proficiency in Python and/or Matlab. Fluency in English. J-18808-Ljbffr
