Payroll Officer - Chemical Sector - Milan

We are looking for a Payroll Officer, who manages employee payslips, time and attendance systems, and payroll-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and collaborating with HR and Finance departments. Must have? 5 years of experience in payroll administration and analysis. The Payroll Officer is responsible for: Processing employee payslips together with the external payroll service provider; Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees; Managing the employee time and attendance system and ensuring compliance with company policy; Maintaining employee data in the payroll system; Managing relations with public authorities (INPS, INAIL) and pension funds; Analyzing payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement; Assisting in preparing the annual Budget for personnel costs; Collaborating with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related matters; Providing support during internal and external audits. Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Accounting Diploma; 5 years of experience in payroll administration and analysis; Good knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices; Experience with payroll software and systems, including Zucchetti; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment; Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational skills; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Proficiency with MS Excel.
