Accounting Supervisor (Orsenigo, Italy) BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as Accounting Supervisor for our Italian Technical Center in Orsenigo. Location : Orsenigo, Italy Key Responsibilities: Responsible for accounting Manage & review monthly US GAAP closing activities Perform accounting reporting and analytical review Prepare statutory annual accounts in Italian GAAP Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit Actively participate in the SAP transition project Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems Report issues/key transactions to site controller and group accounting team Drive continuous improvement in processes Train & coach team member(s) Education & Experience: 6-8 years of experience in accounting/audit, preferably in industry Master's Degree in Accounting/Management/Finance required Big 4 experience is a plus Experience in reporting to senior management is preferred Good knowledge of IFRS and Italian GAAP Basic knowledge of US GAAP Basic knowledge on consolidation Good knowledge on taxation (direct and indirect) IT aptitude SAP ERP System knowledge preferred HFM or OneStream knowledge is a plus Proficient Microsoft Excel user Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Organized with strong communication skills Proactive and detail-oriented Team-player and autonomous Fluent in English and Italian required What we believe: Inclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.
