Sr. C++ Developer

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrating an aptitude for analyzing intricate technical challenges, you will make informed technical decisions in a proactive and self-directed manner throughout all phases of the technology life cycle.
• Systems development on a mature, modern C++ codebase.
• Upholding code quality standards and accountability for your own code.
• Testing, evaluating, and recommending technologies to enhance overall solutions.
• Continually refining the development life cycle and code quality.
• Collaborating with research and trading teams to design and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
• Providing day-to-day support for applications.
• Product and component testing
• Unit testing and Regression testing for software development and modification
• Work closely with QA to create testing plans.
• Document new and existing components
• Research technologies and methodologies which will improve our product or practices

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, equivalent industry experience acceptable.
• Hands on knowledge in C/C++.
• Object Orient Programming concept
• STL, Socket, Multi-threading and Inter Process Communication
• Familiar with shell scripting and Problem Solving Skills.
• Familiarity with Solaris or Linux and Windows operating systems
• Financial domain experience a plus,Familiarity with development of mathematical algorithms would be good

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer.
