Statistical Analyst

Job & Company Description: Analyses financial risks, develops pricing strategies, and ensures regulatory compliance in sectors like insurance or pensions. Key duties include risk assessments, financial modelling, and providing insights to senior management. The role requires strong actuarial expertise, proficiency in relevant software. Key responsibilities Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights, providing actionable recommendations to support decision-making. Reporting & Visualization: Create clear reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders, ensuring complex data is easily understood and actionable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages (R, Python, SAS, SPSS). Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel) for creating actionable reports and dashboards. Strong database management skills, including the ability to query data using SQL. Qualification Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or related field. A masters degree may be preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or statistical modelling, with more experience required for senior roles
