Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Dunfermline based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.
We're seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:
Assemble mechanical components per engineering drawings
Use hand and power tools for assembly and modifications
Conduct quality inspections and tests
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
Collaborate with teams to improve processes
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
Document assembly processes and keep accurate recordsTo be successful in this Mechanical Assembly Operator role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:
Experience in mechanical assembly
Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
Basic computer skills for documentation.What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position working either day or night shift. Competitive salary up to £41,500 per annum DOE. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
