Job Description

Equifind is supporting a multi-billion dollar private equity investor in recruiting a Senior Fund Accountant. The successful candidate will be based in their London office in Mayfair.


This dynamic investment group has a vast investor base, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, pension funds, and one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds. There are 35 people in the business, meaning you’ll get great exposure across the company and work hand-in-hand with a team of experience senior finance and investment professionals.


The purpose of the role is to support the CFO in managing and overseeing the fund's financial reporting, ensuring accurate valuation of investments, and preparing periodic financial statements and reports for investors and regulatory bodies.


Key deliverables:

  • Active assistance with the reporting requirements of the fund structures
  • Maintain relationship with the third-party administrators and provide support where needed
  • Ownership for the GL for Co-Investment vehicle, General Partner and other reporting vehicles
  • First review of the management accounts of each fund, Co-Investment vehicle, General Partner and other reporting vehicles upon receipt from the third-party administrators.
  • Support with the preparation of the annual financial statement process for each applicable vehicle ensuring inputs accurately reflect the management accounts.
  • Coordinate and completion of investor queries.
  • Assist with Fund level tax reporting such as US, German and Lux tax reporting.
  • Assist with the calculation and compilation of capital call and distribution notices.
  • Assist with the year-end audit process.


Application criteria:

  • A qualified accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA preferred).
  • At least 3 years experience of relevant finance experience
  • An interest in private equity markets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Self-organised and self-motivated with a result-orientated mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
