Join us in crafting web applications that have real impact, not only innovate in the EdTech space, but that also reflect our values. For example:

• Spelling: This React-based gaming platform amplifies the joy of learning and relies on a custom-built sound system, symbolising our commitment to making education exciting and effective.
• Create: This React-based Canva editor fuses Canva and JS showcasing technical prowess and our commitment to diverse and innovative solutions.
• Ari AI: Our AI tool empowering educators and enabling them to create their own content

Requirements:

We understand that not every engineer is a perfect blend of frontend and backend expertise, and that’s okay! If you are strong in either frontend or backend and have the desire to learn and grow into a full stack role, we want to hear from you.

Develop web applications using ReactJS, Redux, HTML/CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, including (but not limited to):

• Developing and maintaining intuitive and customer-friendly web applications.
• Implementing complex interactive UI components.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Implement server-side logic using Node.js, including (but not limited to):

• Designing, developing and maintaining APIs to support client-side functionality.
• Integrating with other APIs/3rd party services.
• Securing and scaling server-side applications.
• Managing data storage solutions including DynamoDB, MySQL and ElasticSearch.
• AWS experience, particularly with API Gateway and Lambda, is valuable.
• TypeScript experience is also beneficial for this role.
