Job Description
My client offers a market leading product into the office of CFO. Due to growth they are looking to add a Sales Director to their team. This will initially be a player/manager role.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mid-Market Sales Director to join the expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across mid-sized enterprises, building strategic relationships, and leading sales efforts to achieve revenue targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to make a significant impact within a rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the mid-market sector.
- Identify and prospect new clients, engaging with key stakeholders to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers within target accounts.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions and deliver effective sales presentations.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and insights to the leadership team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as the team expands.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a mid-market sales role, preferably in the fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software sectors.
- Experience of selling into finance personas; CFO, FD, FC
- Strong understanding of finance operations and the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
