Finance Accountant

Full Time - Bristol

We are looking for a Finance Accountant to join the fast moving Record to Report team to act as the first point of contact for all RTR issues and queries.

What are the main duties?

You will work alongside the wider Accounting & Financial team in a Shared Service model to implement agenda and processes addressing any differences in practices and performance. You will also work to promote and maintain centralised FSSC activites across all business unites acting at the business partner to the Projects Division. Other duties include:

• Day to day management of RTR BAU activities and onshore team such as balance sheets, checklists and deadlines
• Develop the internal team branding
• Act as finance expert to the Projects Division
• Manage integrations of new acquisitions into standard RTR systems and processes
• Manage and update finance processes, maps, SOP's in line with RTR strategy and Group policy
• Build strong relationships with outsource provider and all Business Unit and FSSC teams

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with a high level of Accounting experience holding full Accountant Qualifications. You will also have experience working within a Shared Service environment and have an understanding of governance and implementing change. Additionally, you'll have a good attention to detail, have the ability to work alongside a variety of high stakeholders and be able work on Excel with large data sets. Experience using SAP ERP is preferred but not essential.
