Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Location: Liverpool / Manchester corridor
Salary: upto £65k plus car allowance
Basic Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday
Contract / Permanent: Permanent
Site Based / Office / Remote: Office based

Our client, based in Liverpool, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects across various sectors.
Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and designs to ensure accurate pricing.
Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and negotiate quotes.
Providing value engineering solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost.
Supporting the tender process by producing competitive and profitable estimates.
Keeping up to date with market trends, pricing, and material costs to ensure the accuracy of estimates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and services (HVAC, piping, plumbing, etc.).
Excellent knowledge of estimating software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
HND, HNC, or a relevant mechanical engineering qualification is desirable.
