We are partnering with a premier MEP contractor specializing in large-scale life science projects to find a talented Electrical Project Engineer for a 36-month project in Oxford. If you’re looking to make a significant impact in this vital sector, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* System Building Services: Deliver comprehensive engineering for mechanical, electrical, ventilation, and specialist systems while liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants.
* Package Management: Oversee multiple sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring seamless integration of systems and packages.
* Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with project teams to coordinate design completion and address MEP challenges.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key project stakeholders, including clients and construction teams.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
* Innovation in Construction: Incorporate modern methods of construction, digital technologies, and prefabrication into project strategies.
* Sustainability Commitment: Actively contribute to achieving net-zero carbon goals throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Need:
* Technical Expertise: Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, installation techniques, and commissioning processes. A basic understanding of mechanical systems is beneficial.
* Construction Acumen: Familiarity with construction sequencing, dependencies, and commercial management to control project costs and procurement.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Strong grasp of health, safety, and welfare practices to ensure a safe work environment.
* Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality assurance processes and system integration for successful project delivery.
* Education & Experience: Completed apprenticeship (trade/technical) or equivalent, BTECH/HNC qualifications, relevant CSCS card, and SMSTS health & safety training.
