Job Title: Accounts Semi Senior
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role:
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will assist with the preparation of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will work closely with senior accountants and managers, providing high-quality service to clients while continuing your professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping for clients.
Assisting with the preparation of corporate tax computations.
Liaising with clients to gather required information and address queries.
Assisting with the audit process as required, including audit testing and documentation.
Supporting senior accountants with ad-hoc assignments and client work.
Working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
Maintaining accurate and organised client records.
Ensuring work is completed within agreed deadlines and budgets.
Requirements:
AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with at least 1-2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
Strong experience in preparing accounts and VAT returns.
Working knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
A willingness to learn and develop, with a strong commitment to professional growth.
